Guests staying in Gümbet usually take in the itinerary quickly, then get stuck on something far more basic: which way to walk on the morning of the trip. The boat leaves Gümbet Harbour at 10:30 and returns to the same pier at 17:00, so the only thing left to solve is the short hop between your hotel and the quay.
Where the pier is
The jetty sits at one end of the seafront strip that follows Gümbet bay. Walk along the shore road and you reach the stretch where day boats are moored next to each other. How many minutes from the beach?
The honest answer depends on where your hotel stands. From properties on the beach line the pier is an easy walk, with the sea beside you the whole way, so getting lost is difficult. If you are staying further up the slope, add a few streets downhill. Rather than quoting a figure that may not match your address, use this rule: leave so that you are at the pier half an hour before departure. Early arrivals pick their own spot on deck. If you are still choosing between operators, the points that separate one boat from another are worth reading.
If you would rather not walk
Hotel pick-up is included in the price for Gümbet, Bitez and Ortakent, with nothing extra to pay for the transfer. Give your hotel name when you book and you will be told the pick-up point and time, which removes the walking question entirely. Finding the right boat at the pier
Several boats can be tied up along the same stretch of quay. Once your booking is confirmed, the meeting point and boat details arrive in writing on WhatsApp, and showing that message to the crew member at the pier is enough. The route runs to Dalgıç Bay, Ada Boğazı, Aşıklar Bay and Akvaryum Bay, with 30 to 40 minutes at each stop.
